CE question - Guild Wars Forums

Right, so on my account I have the STANDARD EDITIONS of Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall. My question is, if I buy the CE versions, will I have to make new characters or a new account to receive the in-game benefits, or will they appear on my already existing characters on the account that already has the standard editions?

You have two options if you bought the CE. You can (1) register the CE as its own account, meaning you would only have access to Elona when logged into that account(until you add the other Chapters to the account). You would have to make new characters and so on. Or (2) you could add it to your existing account. Doing so you would gain all ingame benefits of the CE, the dances and mini, on your current account but forfeit the character slots, as you already have Nightfall on your account. Adding it you would not gain any character slots, just the bonuses of having a CE on the account.

Already existing characters do get the benefits, but the Aura is Prophecies CE feature.
